Stillmeadow Evangelical Free Church--A Community of Believers

Pastor David Gehret was recently called by the Stillmeadow congregation by unanimous vote, and he has accepted the position of Senior Pastor! We hope to have Pastor David and his family with us sometime in the next few months. Please check back for future updates.

Stillmeadow Church is a Bible-based community that desires to live out our faith and our commitment to serving the people of Baltimore. Our Sunday service includes praise and worship, preaching, Sunday School for the children and youth, and fellowship.

Our vision statement is: With God's Word as our foundation and His great love for us as our model, we desire to love and care for one another, and to love and care for our neighborhood.

You're welcome to come to our Sunday morning service at 10:30 a.m. followed by a brief time of fellowship. Our service usually goes until about 12:00 noon.  Adults, youth and children are all welcome to join our family of believers.

Our current goals are to grow our congregation and our outreach to the people of southwest Baltimore, and to grow in our faith both individually and as a body of believers.

Stillmeadow Church was established in 1978. Author Joel Freeman was our first pastor and he originally purchased land for the church in Howard County. Our historian Joyce Swayne says the congregation decided to sell the land and purchase our present building in southwest Baltimore because we felt called to ministry here. Our building dates back to 1951 and was previously a Seventh Day Adventist church.
